My passion and love of horses began at a very young age. Both my parents grew up on ranches, worked with horses their entire lives and passed on their knowledge and experience to me. My mom competed in barrel racing and rodeo and taught riding lessons. My dad competed in roping at rodeos. I worked as a wrangler for a few guest ranches over the years giving riding lessons and leading many trail rides for novice riders who wanted to get a taste of the cowgirl/cowboy lifestyle.

I've been involved in many aspects of riding, including gymkhana (multiple horse events) and rodeo. I have  experience in jumping and dressage. I ride extensively on trails and currently compete in cattle sorting, gymkhana and barrel racing.

I have many clients of all ages taking riding lessons on my lesson horse or on their own horse.  My novice riders will learn:

  • the basics of caring for a horse;
  • brushing, tacking and untacking a lesson horse;
  • how to ride in the arena and on the trail.

Experienced riders will benefit from my tips and pointers to improve their riding skills.

I feel with my many years of experience and understanding of horses and involvement in competition that I can enhance the relationship between many horse and rider combinations.
